Dining here at Kinlochewe is an experience not to be missed, with the emphasis being on simplicity and flavour.
Where possible all produce is sourced locally using high quality fresh ingredients from the Highlands.
All food is cooked freshly to order with lunch and dinner service available daily.
Dietary requirements are catered for, please ask your server when viewing our menu.
The village of Kinlochewe lies on the south-eastern shore of Loch Maree and at the junction of three majestic glens: Glen Torridon; Glen Docherty and Glen Cruaidh Choillie.
Kinlochewe sits at the foot of Beinn Eighe which offers seasoned walkers and novices alike the only way-marked mountain trails in Britain.
Loch Maree is home to one of Scotland's rarest birds; the Black-throated Diver. As a National Nature Reserve the area is important for the preservation of the largest remaining vestiges of ancient Scots pinewoods in the Western Highlands.
Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, nestled at the foot of Beinn Eighe in the heart of the Torridon Mountains and in close proximity to several Munros, the hotel is ideally placed for you to enjoy a variety of pursuits.
Whether it be walking, cycling, Munro ‘bagging’, climbing, mountain biking, bird watching, fishing, stalking, sightseeing or just good old relaxation you're after…you can find it all from here. (see our ‘to see & do‘ page)
We know you work hard year round and deserve to get the most from your well deserved holidays.
Our aim is to provide you with a comfortable, warm, friendly and relaxing base for your holiday coupled with excellent, locally produced and ‘home cooked’ food washed down with the finest ales in the area or choose from a fine selection of wines.
Last but not least we have over 100 whiskies and over a dozen local Gins on offer to satisfy the connoisseur and novice alike.
There is, truly, no place like home, but the Kinlochewe Hotel aims to come a close second.
Please note: we have no TV’s in the rooms, lounge or bar. We do have plenty of books, games and good ol banter to keep you entertained.
As for the Internet, it is freely available (if somewhat slow at times), it is getting better (fiber optic may come soon!) and we do our upmost to keep you connected.
