In addition to our hotel in Torridon, we also have a bunkhouse. Our 12-bed bunkhouse is popular with walkers, climbers and cyclists offering clean, simple and budget-priced accommodation throughout the year.
The bunkhouse is an ideal place to make new friends and discuss the endless opportunities for outdoor activities in the area. The bunks are all in one carpeted bunkroom where we provide covered memory foam mattresses, individual lockers, pillows and pillow cases. You are required to bring your own sleeping bag and towels plus a padlock for the locker. The bathroom area has Mira Sport showers, washbasins and toilets and the drying room contains a very effective dehumidifier to dry any wet clothes!
The fully equipped kitchen with large range cooker has everything you need to prepare meals for yourself – of course if you prefer not to cook you can enjoy a delicious home-cooked evening meal in our warm, friendly restaurant/bar ( Reservations advised).
We are also able to offer breakfast in the hotel by arrangement and offer breakfast rolls that may be pre ordered the night before (by calling the hotel) and we will deliver them to you the next morning. There is a price list in the bunkhouse.
The local mountain weather and SAIS avalanche forecasts (when available) are provided daily to help you plan your activities.

Sole occupancy of the bunkhouse is available at a discounted rate based on stays of 2 nights or more.

Bunkhouse Booking Terms & Conditions
Payment
Payment will be made in full at the time of booking. We are pleased to accept payment by credit/debit card or cash sterling. We regret that we are unable to accept Diners Club cards.
Cancellations
Bookings: If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the start date of the booking, no refund will be given unless we are able to re-let the bed(s).
Sole Occupancy Bookings: If a sole occupancy booking is cancelled within one month of the start date of the booking then no refund will be made unless we can re-let the bunkhouse, or beds on an individual basis. In that case any monies taken will be refunded.
We would recommend that travel insurance is arranged to cover any bookings.
If for any reason a booking is cancelled by Kinlochewe Bunkhouse, then all monies taken will be refunded.
Children
Children under the age of 12 years will not be permitted as residents in the bunkhouse.
Dogs
Dogs are not allowed into the bunkhouse.
Smoking
We operate a strict no-smoking policy on the premises and any person found to be smoking in the bunkhouse will be asked to leave and may be liable to a surcharge.
